1-Is Trendy® type-approved? Trendy® is certified by TUV and it is currently undergoing type-approval, it overcame all tests and has the requirements to be certified also by the Austrian Ö-Norm Institute.

3-What do the European traffic regulations establish about the devices to use in case of snow and ice?

The ruling about the usage of snow chains changes from Country to Country. In most Countries, it is required to use devices abiding of the requirements of the Austrian Norm Institute (Ö-Norm)

5-Are there any particular advices for use? Trendy® is very easy to mount, but for the utmost functioning safety it is a good rule to stop and check it is well positioned at covering the tread after mounting it and driving a few hundreds km: if it is centred or after one has adequately adjusted its position, one can quietly restart. This simple precaution will allow for less of a device wear and for a higher march security.
6-How many Km can I drive along with Trendy®? It is suggested to use Trendy® on snowy or icy roads only: : asphalt and gravel accelerate the wear and tear of the anti-skid fabric. Thus we recommend to take
advantage from the ease and quickness of mounting to avoid unnecessary use. This way it will be possible to use Trendy® for longer and for more times. Sharp acceleration and braking can cause . Trendy® to leak from the tyre other than wearing the device.
7-Red bands look quite long and flapping, why? Each Trendy® size can match different types of tyres. The length of red bands can thus turn out to be longer according to the sort of wheel on which the device is mounted. The presence of the red bands determines, at speeds higher than 40 Km/h, a movement against the wheel which makes the presence of Trendy® perceptible, while coming to constitute an alarm for the driver, who can avoid inadvertently reaching dangerous speeds that way.
8-How many times can I use Trendy®? You can use it as often as you like unless the various materials composing it detach themselves from the others. Small tears of the fabric do not jeopardize Trendy®’s functionality. Trendy® can be washed by hand or with cold water in the machine.
9-At what speed can I drive? We suggest you not to exceed 40 Km/h.
10-If I am in the mountains, can I keep it mounted for the whole time of my stay? We suggest you to take it out of the wheels unless there is snow and not to keep it mounted at night.
11-The price seems as high, why? Just like technical wear has high prices for high performances, so Trendy® is a winter "cloth" for the wheels, which is produced by using technical fabric and materials.

13-How many devices do I need if my car is a 4x4? We suggest to mount them on all driving wheels.
14-Is Trendy® useful for SUVs? SUVs find it often very difficult to hold their grip on snow and ice above all in descent, albeit it might not seem like this. According to road and tyres conditions, Trendy® can turn out to be very useful.
